Government intrusion may be the reason for a drop in economic freedoms in the U.S. The more debt that is accumulated the more the average citizens will owe in the future. Over the years after Obama took office our rank has dropped in regards to economic freedom compared to other countries.

This article is about a recent study that indicates which states have more personal freedoms. The study was based on laws and how strict they were and the restrictions on the citizens of that state. It was conducted to see which states allow their citizens to leave the most personal, private, and free life possible.
Recently, Oregon has been named the "top state in the union for personal freedom." Apparently they have no problem with people riding bikes naked, but smoking marijuana, a problem. However, another section of the article stated that rankings, or polls are "essentially meaningless jumble of arbitrary numbers."
