The website discusses the rights of pet-owners to secure rental housing. It speaks of ways in which pet owners may help themselves when obtaining housing. For example, they may obtain a letter from their former landlord stating that there were no problems with the pet.

If exotic pets are banned they will either be killed or spend the rest of their lives in a cage. Everyone that drives a car is risking themselves and the lives of their family three times more than someone who owns a large exotic pet.

This article is a one sided opinion of a celebrity that owned a pit bull that attacked his toddler, wife and guest in their home. Now that the dog is quarantined and scheduled for euthanasia the pet owner feels remorse. He began looking into facilities that would be willing to take on the troubled pet. Many of these facilities have little or no vacancies available. Many of the facilities would rather take non biting dogs than dogs with behavior issues with humans.

Zoo's already have their hands full taking care of the animals they have so why is it so wrong for us to help by taking some exotic animals to care for? We should have to right to take care of exotic animals if we have the ability to do it.

Giving animals rights is about protecting them since they cannot speak up for themselves. We are their voice. We should not go around harming them or beating them. Some people have pets in their house and it amazes me how people can adopt an animal and then go and abuse them. They did not ask to be adopted by you to have you do that to them. They can feel, and they deserve to be happy and live their one life.

Dogs can make wonderful pets, but even the most seemingly mild-mannered dog can bite someone under the right circumstances. Dog owners have a responsibility to provide the right kind of care for their dogs, and to take actions that prevent dog bites.

The random telephone survey of 1,000 American adults was conducted Jan. 20-22, 2006 by Synovate, an independent market research firm.
