I think it's really great that college students are coming up with a way to help reduce food. Giving food to charities would help in having the homeless eat and also not wasting good food.There needs to be more organizations like this worldwide.

Obama vetoed the bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood. This outraged people of both political parties, given this organization allegedly sold baby body parts illegally.

Some were angry with this comparison, because the article states that this kind of association correlates corruption to the organization. But in all honesty, is anything corruption free? Do the benefits of Planned Parenthood outweigh the negatives? As of right now, it appears the benefits outweigh the negatives tenfold.

Defunding planned parenthood would end up costing the government more in the end. Since planned parenthood does more than just abortions through their organization it would cause health care for women aside from abortions to be taken away from them. Therefore that can present a huge problem in the future if that were to happen.

Many people see planned parenthood as an organization that has been taking money from the government to fund abortions among many other issues. It's thought that this shouldn't be the case because there are so many other health care services in the states that provide the same services as well as many more services too. The break down of some of the expenses show why continuing to fund planned parenthood would not be the best solution for the tax payers money.

If planned parenthood were to be defunded, it is predicted that the government would end up spending more in the long run on public assistance. Planned parenthood provides many services for women, one of them being birth control. Statistics in this article show that women who used birth control were easily able to finish school, find jobs, and create a steady life before having children. Defunding this organization would cost America more money in the bigger scheme of things.
