Adaptive learning is where software meets the student's learning needs and styles. Hopefully it will part of the curriculum and not relied on 100%. It take a "village" to raise a child.

This is an awesome website with short (and free!) videos to help teach all types of math from 1st - college and some higher level sciences. It's great for those days when the kids don't want to listen to your voice anymore.

Great video library for tutoring and support on a wide variety of subjects from math to science to art history.

In the world of academia, Google search engine does not always serve the purpose because most of the time its search results are not exact . I am a huge fan of Google but when it comes to academic search queries I often have recourse to other search engines that are area or content specific.

There was no collaboration except for group assignment. We all had a name but no identity. However, in today's learning environment, online learning is anything but boring and lonely. There are endless ways to connect. Being able to connect with classmates/peers and share information can be very rewarding. .
