FloridaVCM provides many digital curriculum resources to teachers, registration seems to be required. Many digital learning experiences can be purchased by teachers, and some resources seem to be free (once you register).

Discovery Education has terrific resources that is linked to the current textbook that your county may be using for it's curriculum. User friendly and the United streaming is also helpful when planning lessons with the library of video segments.

Play used to gauge noncognitive skills

Cell phones could become the next big learning tool in the classroom. So why have schools been so slow to embrace them? Without a doubt, cell phones can cause serious disruption in the classroom. From urgent text messages flying across the room to lessons interrupted by rap-song ringtones, these gadgets are responsible for nationwide frustration among educators.

Take classroom discussions online, where some students might feel freer and more comfortable in some ways to ask questions and respond to each other, and where there's no bell to end the discussion period. (Blog posts can even be made into a homework assignment - as an online journal of sorts - or part of a class participation requirement.)

This resource would be great for anyone who has an interactive whiteboard or even computers in their classroom. Brainflips allows you to create flash cards for any content area. After creating the flash cards there are different "modes" that students can use to learn the content. What a great way to practice spelling words, math facts and so much more!

Oh, Twitter. You're so useful for teachers. You connect educators so that they can share tools, tips and tricks, offer insight, and support one another. You bring your sexy social media-ness into the classroom to keep kids interested in what they're learning when they think they're actually (sort of) having fun instead.

This is resource my school has recently been suggesting with the new changes to more computerized testing. Great tool to help students/adults learn how to type.
