One of my all time favorite science websites!

For all you science buffs or science teachers interested in finding a great sight for astronomy, this one has wonderful interactive activities, pictures and videos of the solar system. Check it out.

This is a good site, I like it because it has free stuff for teachers but it also has things for parents and students at home and after school. check it out

Use your own technology

This is a great resource for teachers looking for fast assessments (exit slips, tally answers, etc). Free accounts are available and you can see real time results as students answer. It can be set to have one answer per computer/smart phone, or multiple answers per. Great to have parents leave anonymous comments to questions.

Instant audience feedback for use with mobile devices. Free for up to 40 users. Great way to use cell phones in the classroom for polling activities.

Ten great story starter activities for elementary school students.

This website is a great internet safety resource for students, parents and educators.  There are videos and lesson ideas available.  There is also information about cyberbullying.  This website is a great classroom tool because it offers engaging activities for students, including virtual games, to teach them about internet safety.

This site offers a wealth of information and many great resources for teachers interested in using digital media for storytelling and other activities.  There are a number of very good, clear, screencast tutorials for teachers to use. Preview a few to see if you might be able to use them with your classes. I thought they were great for high school students, and they inspired me to think about creating my own screencasts for other tutorials! :-)

Mind map for using Google. Links include classroom tools, google teacher academy, teacher community, NECC presentations, classroom activities, and classroom posters. I like the way the author used the web to map everything out. Kind of reminds me of a sports playoff bracket but in this case it's used to help you pinpoint exactly what you need.

Teachhub provides teachers with multiple resources that they can use with their interactive whiteboards. resources are a great way for teachers to engage classrooms in learning. All of these pages include free activities and lessons to use so that you don't have to take the time to create your own original interactive white board lessons.

The Flagship program is a wonderful program that each school writes grants and also get community support in the topic they choose. Rymfire Elem. has a medical lab that Flagler Hospital is activity involved in.

"'Animated Educational Video Clips"

This is an animated site for kids. Sight contains information in all subject areas. There is a fee to use all of the site but they provide some free material as well. I like the clear explanations they have on the topics.

An awesome website for elementary students! The videos can also be added to Nearpod lessons and viewed with headsets.

Great apps! I love the Vocabulary Slides. My students for it easy to use as well.

This site provides interactive and fun ways for students to practice and learn new vocabulary words via games, puzzles, and crosswords. It is suitable for students from high elementary grades through college!
