Interesting. Was just reading the preface for Rebecca MacKinnon's Consent of the Networked. She addressed the issues of Internet Freedom and how much of the Restrictions in China (and other countries) are directly or indirectly backed by policies, technical decisions made by governments and corporations in the democratic west. Such a gloomy thought but...
