students analyze World War II posters, chosen from online collections, to explore how argument, persuasion and propaganda differ.

students are introduced to propaganda techniques and then identify examples in the text.

The chart is created by connectedprincipals and features some alternative ways to do "traditional' homework. I am not really sure the labelling of homework as traditional is a correct nomenclature or not because for me there is no such a thing called traditional homework, any work  scheduled to be done at home is a homework.

tudents will learn persuasive techniques used in advertising, specifically, pathos or emotion, logos or logic, and ethos or credibility/character. They will use this knowledge to analyze advertising in a variety of sources: print, television, and Web-based advertising. Students will also explore the concepts of demographics and marketing for a specific audience. The lesson will culminate in the production of an advertisement in one of several various forms of media, intended for a specific demographic.

It’s a great, and entertaining, way to show how audio, visual and the selling of a product to a girl or boy (as opposed to any gender kid) is done
