    Hi All,

I just want to share with you my latest learning adventure entitled '10 Secrets to Great Teaching':

    Part 1 (10 min):

    Presentation Slides (SlideShare):

Please feel free to share these links with others, and hopefully we can get more educators to really think about their own teaching. Yes, it would be great to also link up educators and facilitate deeper discussions on what it takes to facilitate effective learning in the 21st century.

Whatever response, let's have fun (or fall asleep) with these learning resources shared :)

    I am still learning!

Have a great day learning :)

    Warm Regards,

    Zaid

    Dear Erin Freeman,

Thanks for the great feedback. I knew there was something really important that I kind of missed out (with the exception of 'Laugh' at oneself, which was mentioned). And you just hit the bulls-eye with the sense of humour and having fun. Although, I was thinking of it while developing the presentation, it never really came out :)

If I eventually write a paper about the '11 Secrets to Great Teaching' , 'FUN' (and sense of humour) would surely be one of these secrets :)

Again thanks for the mind awakening feedback :)

Have a great day learning :)

    Warm Regards,

    Zaid

I believe that teaching is an inherent skill. In particular the passion for teaching. I know a lot of 'good' teachers but what they are missing is that passion to be all they can be and more, I am not sure that this can be taught.

    Hi All,

Just want to share an interesting OCW/OER compilation post I did the other day, which you might find useful.

This post is about smashing all free University learning related OCW and OER resources and collections discovered into an all-in-one quick-to-access/find juicy compilation.

    URL: http://zaidlearn.blogspot.com/2008/06/university-learning-ocw-oer-free.html

It would be interesting if others could share with me repositories to add to the list, or any feedback would be wonderful (positive and negative) :)

    Warm Regards,

    Zaid

    Dear Phil Cook,

    that sounds great :)

Hopefully, they will benefit from it.

Also, you should perhaps consider posting the list of 101 Free Learning Tools, too:

    http://www.slideshare.net/zaid/101-free-learning-tools-presentation/

It has already been embedded in several sites :)

Have a great week weekend learning :)

    Warm Regards,

    Zaid
