I was always a little apprehensive to start a blog, but it really was easier then expected. It would be fun to have students start a blog at the beginning of the year and see how it develops throughout the year. I also now feel more comfortable starting my own blog for parent communication.
  •
My students are often surprised at how easy it is to set up a blog, Molly! I always utilized one when I taught 3rd and 4th grade. My students and parents loved it!

Prezi - The Zooming Presentation Editor - 1 views

  •
Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software that opens up a new world between whiteboards and slides. The zoomable canvas makes it fun to explore ideas and the connections between them. The result: visually captivating presentations that lead your audience down a path of discovery.
  •
I've tried Prezi, but it takes a little while to get used to in the build mode and sizing. Presentations on Prezi are much more interesting than as a PPT.
  •
I love Prezi and use it often...you totally beat me to it! :)
