This was my attempt at creating a Prezi. I really don't want this thing graded as I wasn't able to understand the validity of this program for an assignment requiring me to list 5 sites/apps and suggestions on how to organize info, etc. Looks like I'll be trying the powerpoint instead. FYI: the video tutorial wasn't very effective in my opinion. The "share" icon didn't appear the same on my screen and it didn't cover multiple pages. Is that possible in Prezi? I feel this is the same frustration that my colleagues at school would feel with this program. If it isn't streamlined and able to master in 5 minutes I'd rather not.
Prezis don't really consist of "pages." You have a canvas on which you can place content. You then create a path for how you want viewers to view that content.
Angie, thank you for the reply. I'll look at Prezi again in the morning. I left for Sparta Wisconsin at 1:00 am and just got back to Omaha at 8:30 tonight. I do have a powerpoint presentation ready to be narrated. Just have to figure out that video app. I'm hoping to have enough time to hammer out the rest of last week's late work and this week's work.
Perfect, Peyton. If there is another screencasting app or method of narrating that you would prefer, feel free to do so. The objective is to have a narrated presentation; I'm not really concerned with which tool you use to do that.
