Short film for use in Year 1/2 classrooms. Australian Curriculum outcomes ACMNA017 Recognise, describe and order Australian coins according to their value (Year 1) and ACMNA034 Count and order small collections of Australian coins and notes according to their value (Year 2).

We chose to use measurement for our numeracy video. We felt that measurement is an important numeracy skill used in everyday life. We believe we did this well. We met all criteria. For the first time we used the flip cameras, movie-maker and youtube to: create, edit and upload our video. We thoroughly enjoyed this process and felt it was an interesting assignment. :)
