This is a really easy, but very fun site to use. Students and adults can create picassoheads to use as icons and images for stories or in place of a virtual photo of themselves. In my district students' photos cannot be online.
Combine photos, videos, audio and text to create scrapbooks. This is really cool if you are into sharing pictures in a fun way. I don't enjoy scrapbooking because of the tedious cutting/pasting, but I think I would enjoy this because it is virtual. This would be great for students to use when doing biographies.
SmallWorlds is a 3D virtual world that runs inside your web browser. It enables you to build your own room, house, or even your own world, and fill it with a wide variety of items and fun activities.
This is a great sight for students in a photography or graphics class. You are able to take pictures and changes the effects. It a easier way than tring to manipualte them in a darkroom.

Planzone provides a host of smart tools like to-dos, milestones and wikis designed to make you more efficient and your work more fun.
I am going to try this application in my classes next year. I tried it for about a week. Added comments, content, and set up assignments. It seems to offer the basic class setup with some great FAQs and demos. It may be the answer to my questions about class wikis also...

Totlol is a community-moderated video website designed to be enjoyed by those between the ages of 6 months and 6 years. Videos available at Totlol are all intended to be enjoyed by tots. Parents can easily find the content they want without worry about it.
This looks like a fun site kids would enjoy. It's like guitar hero without graphics and online. It's still in development, but check out the Coming Soon section. Anyone can "play" a song or actually learn how to play the guitar.
This could be fun with irony. Students could spoof a novel or historical event. You can build your own character with a body, arms, legs, etc.
Don't see anything harmful in the posting. Obviously, you are limited by the designer's characterizations.
