The NCTM website is one everyone is familiar with; there are a lot of resources here that are great for explaining concepts. This is an interactive activity working with vectors to help students understand basic facts about the difference between magnitude and direction.

This set of applications lets you set up audio drop-boxes so your students can record and turn in their spoken answers. There are also ways to create worksheets for videos and embed them together in a "mash-up" activity. Especially for foreign language teachers, this seems like an awesome assortment of apps!

Read write think is a great resource for lesson plans but also has many types of free templates available for graphic organizers. I have primarily used read write think for brainstorming in the classroom as many of their organizational templates are great accommodation for visual learners or students who really benefit from structure.

This site has lots of search engine sites for younger kids and links for kids to submit and read book reviews, along with many other resources.

I found that this website offers a variety of material that can be utilized for the MCAS Alt exams. Along with MCAS sheets, this site offers activities and art projects that I'm kind of excited to use in my class. I found a project where the students paint on terra-cotta pots, resembling the vases of ancient Greece. This makes me want to create a unit on Greece just so I can do this project with the kids.

This site seems to have it all! Online resources and activities for students of all ages and for all academic areas.

This is a great site to download activities that others have already made on Boardmaker. It works for assistive technology and on computers. You need to have the Boardmaker software at your school though.

This website is an amazing resource for students and teachers. The Study Island website has aligned with state standards and created tests, activities, and games that promote student mastery of each standard. Students are able to use their Study Island account at school or at home and teachers can monitor their progress with the reports that are provided from the program. I think this site is an excellent resource for teachers to utilize in order to ensure that students are mastering the necessary standards. It can be very useful for differentiating instruction and using with small groups, or as a computer center station in the classroom.

"Free brain breaks kids love and teachers request." This is a great website for free and appropriate movement activities for students of all ages!

A great interactive site that introduces math, reading, writing, history and science concepts. It includes interactive quizzes and opportunities to answer questions throughout the videos. Brain pop jr. is for K-3.

Provides educational movies for K-3 students. Homework Help, leveled quizzes, games and activities for kids. Exceptional resource for teachers and homeschools.

This site has music from around the world available in all languages. lyrics are posted in a target language with translation and students can play different levels of listening games, in a cloze (fill in the blank) type activity

I stumbled upon this site the other day and it looks really cool! It's a Disney site where students learn how to start a business. It provides good basic and the activity is interactive. You should really check it out!
