From the longer term perspective Slovak female consumers tend to purchase ultra-thin variants of sanitary protection, pantyliners and tampons instead of standard towels. Also new standards in sanitary protection have been emerging in Slovakia. During the review period consumers were interested in cheaper product variants in order to save money and preferred good value for money. Thus, volume sales rose faster than value sales.
