The Case Creator is a video-based case creation tool designed to provide teacher education faculty and students a way of sharing a common pedagogical experience through the use of real video embedded in a highly interactive interface. Case Creator extends work done on video-based teacher education instructional technologies with the main purpose of offering the teacher a new creative avenue to excite and motivate their student teachers.

Wiki pages are always a work in progress. The wiki is like a dynamic online science classroom which continually grows and changes. Applications for the use of Wikis in science classrooms is only limited by the creativeness of the teacher in support science teaching and student earning.

You are dealt five random photos for each draw, and your task is to select one each time to add to a selection of images, that taken together as a final set of 5 images- tell a story in pictures. When you are done, you the option to add a title and explanation, then you can save the story so you can put a link in your resume or send to your Mom (she pay print it out and tape it to the fridge, or she may criticize your creativity, your mileage and mom may vary). I'm excited about the possibilities this site might have for our school, especially as we're trying to be "greener" in our project choices. The booklets seem very simple to create (you're able to add images, files, backgrounds, text, video, embed code, webpages, music and your own code), are saved in the cloud, and can be published in MANY different ways, all without having to print a single sheet of paper! (actually the print function isn't available yet, but they're working on it.) For students: "Create reports, project portfolios, presentations, book reviews, papers, and more. Leverage your expertise with Internet technologies by adding multiple content elements to your project. Your teacher will appreciate the dynamic and engaging experience." For teachers: "Engage students with class newsletters, creative writing exercises, and school projects using simplebooklet. No more lost reports or "I'm almost done" excuses. A simplebooklet is stored in the cloud so you can always find it, even the half completed ones. Simplebooklet is based on the middlespot architecture, so authoring a booklet is a snap. Simple add tools allow a student to quickly upload almost anything to their booklet page. Then drag and drop tools allow for easy formatting and styling. Poetry provides students with power. The power to express their feelings, their point of view, demonstrate creativity, share their hopes & dreams, provide opinions, etc. Writing poetry can prove to be very motivational for students and less intimidating for some, as it allows them the freedom to "break" some of the writing rules. This project is meant to allow students to harness their power and share it with the world.

I've often wondered why it is that the internet is such an amazing, creative and inspiring place full of so many fantastically interesting things, and yet so many educational software, applications and e-learning products turn out to be so dull.

Produced by Daniel Donahoo and presented by well known science educator, Sean M Elliott, Rough Science is a digital learning environment that explores three exciting Australian Curriculum Year 5 & 6 science topics: Layers of the Earth; Solid, Liquid & Gas; and Adaptation & Evolution. Each unit is comprised of a short video and a creative challenge.  The App is accompanied by a free Rough Science Handbook available from the iTunes store.
