Below is a site I came across while working on an online collaborative project inspired by the My Hero site (www.myhero.com). It might help if you need to design student reflection questions for multimedia projects.

The categories are curricular issues, time frame, student direction, multimedia, audience, collaboration and assessment.

I'm not sure I would use all the questions as written, but I think breaking down the experience this way covers all the relevant areas. It also can be used as a pre and post reflection which allows students to examine various aspects of the collaboration process.

For what it's worth, my version would be:

    Pre-reflection:

    1. What is the goal of your project?
    2. How long will it take to complete the project?
    3. What resources and tools will you need?
    4. What type of digital media will you use and why?
    5. Who is your audience?
    6. What issues do you think you will have to deal with in regard to working with others?
    7. How and where will you present and/or submit this project?

    Post-reflection:

    1. Did you achieve the goal you set? Why or why not?
    2. How long did it take to complete the project? What did you learn about planning your time from this experience?
    3. What resources and tools did you use? List the names and/or links.
    4. Did you choose the right digital media to express your ideas? Why or why not?
    5. How did you design the project to suit your audience? Did your idea of who your audience was change? Why or why not?
    6. What issues in regard to working with others came up? How were they resolved? What would you do differently next time?
    7. How and where did you present and/or submit your project? (Include a link to the web site if applicable.) What else could you have done to share your work on a larger scale?
