    I have used this website before for my classes, and I was actually willing to pay in order to use it! You can create online comic books, and actually add audio and animation to your pages. My 6th grade students were absolutely enthralled with this when I used it for mythology projects.

Free Apps for Kids with Mobile Learning Devices, like ipads - 1 views

    Great resource for kids with access to mobile learning devices like ipads. There are links and descriptions to 17 free apps. The teacher who has created this blog teaches young English language learners between 5 to 10 years old so the apps range from simple animated characters reading stories to kids using ipads to take pictures and use fotobabble to narrate their shot. Lyssa you might be able to use some links on this site since you just got the ipads for your room.

    A lot of good resources are found in this article from freetech4teachers.com. One that stuck out was JayCut, a FREE video editing software found online. There are also resources that help teachers with the digital story process.
