  http://rubistar.4teachers.org/index.php is a site that well help you create rubrics to assess your projects. It actually offers grading categories for all content areas and skills, but the digital storytelling template offers some great comments for grading that I would have not thought of before. The nice thing is that you choose the category you want to assess, and the adjust the point values and levels of competency.
