Since our EDN class just dicussed SMART boards, I thought that this was a neat website for us to look at. Since I knew nothing about SMART boards, I really liked this resource and enjoyed the things I learned/found out! Really intersting website.

This is a fun interactive game where kids can get in the ring with some of the world's greatest thinkers and box it out by solving math problems. Kids can have fun while doing quick math. I think boys would especially enjoy this fun and quick paced learning game.

It appears to be an article that gives good descriptions about SPED and then half way down, there are a number of resources that would be helpful to anyone teaching in this field or just to learn about.
I thought this was a great website for us because you need to know how to use a Smart Board since most of us will have them in our classroom! It tells you a little bit about the Smart Board and also includes a ton of lesson plans for it.

This website offers a fun way for middle school students to explore history while using technology. It also allows teachers to explore activities and even create exhibits of their own, to guide learning.
What was really neat about this site is it not only gave ideas on how to introduce technology in the classroom, but took it a step further. This website stressed the point that not every student learns the same "diverse learners" and gave multiple ideas such as, audio, visual, software, etc to help implement technology when in the classroom.
Schoology is a learning management system. It's also a social networking site that helps make it easier to create and share academic content. This website is really helpful for large-scale management for classes.
For elementary education this website would be perfect! It involves math games, and hands on math activities. They make all activities printable to be able to be used in math centers and in the classroom. Everything can be accessed using Adobe.
