This is going to be one that we use a lot. Not only does it gives us the standards of study and curriculum in regards to NC but has employment, licensure, data and statistics. There is testing information such as AYP.

An informative site regarding National Standards and Initiatives, professional development, tools and templates, technology, worksheets, holidays, staffing and training to name a few.

This site will come in handy as it offers information for new teachers. Great tool. There is information and resources here that you won't find anywhere else. It is a must to check out and make use of. Again, there is resources for students, kids, teachers, administrators, and librarians. I am impressed.

This has a little of everything on the site such as special needs. There are a lot of links to other sites from this one but it works. Some links I found not to be working but others are. Grant resources, planning, assessments and bilingual to name a few information on the site.

Lots of free technology and articles. Everything from free e-books for teachers to downloads. It seems that you download the information to build video creation resources as well as others. It is worth checking out.

Unfortunately, another membership site. The good news is that there are four plans to pick from which will give you access to tons of material. This site not only caters to individual teachers but to schools, districts, etc. There are free services, you just have to look for them. An example would be designing a website step by step for your students for free. Take a minute and take the tour of the site. It may come in handy for the materials you couldn't find for free.

A technology site offering free products to meet needs of technology coordinators, administrators, students, teachers and parents. Available in different languages as well. A digital library with over 4,000 plans, Articles and blogs by industry experts. Free with registration. Streamlining your classroom is another example of what HotChalk offers to help you focus more on teaching.

Microsoft is offering free classroom tools, training as well as other free tools. There are how-tos, templates and guides as well as lesson plans. Free software as well. As with any technology site, this is a keeper.

A great technology based site from Intel for students and teachers. Another must site to use which is designed by educators to be used in the classrooms using technology of the 21st century. A great place to go for projects.

A lot of good information for SPED teachers. Print, download, web links, and a customized search tools to other resources and information.

A government site offering Free teaching and learning resources. Interesting. Lots and lots of subject matter to pick from. This is a must to use for not only our students but for us as well.

What an interesting site. There are a lot of free Stuff that is designed for teachers. You can find tips on "Bathroom Procedures". Neat! You can design word searches to downloading teacher e-books (fee). It is worth checking out all the Stuff it has to offer.

A simple but nice site that offers a ton of printables. Everything from special needs to lesson plan builders. Too much to list here. Check it out, it will definitely come in handy.

This is a site where you can download software pertaining to assessments. The site offers other items as well but it does contain educational assessments. There are links that will take you to other sites as well. It can be useful.

This is an interesting website that offers a lot of information to teachers, parents and students. It appears to be an article that gives good descriptions about SPED and then half way down, there are a number of resources that would be helpful to anyone teaching in this field or just to learn about.

Another FREE site that not only offers free lesson plans and worksheets that you can download and/or print, but you can look for teaching jobs. This allows teachers to submit lesson plans for other teachers to use as well. Teacher's Corner has links in certain sections that if you wanted to order a certain book, for example, it would automatically link you to Amazon to purchase.

This site I listed as being a SPED resource but it is also for all other students including bilingual. Unfortunately it isn't free but with a paid membership, it offers a great deal of materials such as classroom management, printables as well as a good subject range.

Just as the title suggests, free lesson plans. It is for k-12 with the main subjects. Information for everyone including administrators to parents. This is definitely a site that I will be using. A lot of interesting materials.

This association site is strictly for NC educators. It is a paid membership site as well which provides scholarships, discounts off school supplies as well as other services. One nice thing about this site is that there is a membership just for students in post secondary education. Another great place to start and use for national board certifications as well. A lot of information to read about.
