Classroom Connections: This marked page goes beyond the traditonal strategy for making flash cards. It provides an acronym for creating the cards and various items to add to them to aid the student in remembering what information they put on the cards.
Elementary Grades 4-5
Classroom Connections: This is a screen cast of how to divide two digits by one digit. The site allows you to create screencasts of various topics to explain or talk about a topic.
Cons: It easily picked up the background noise while creating a screencast.
Grades 3-8
Classroom Connection: New York State Perfomrance Indicators for math. This direct site allows teachers to follow what is expected before and after the state exam in the content area of math.
Special Education & General Education Teachers
Classroom Connection: It is a subscription to various topics within special education. Provides support and guidance on varying topics within special education. An example is checklists of symptons of various disorders. Any sort of help can be found within the site.

Elementary
Classroom Connections: A site that has math and ela games to improve your skills in these areas. Puts content into fun practice for students.
Grades K-12
Classroom Connections: There are tabs at the top to direct the viewer to the correct grade level. This site gives easy to read explanations of social studies concepts for kids.

Classroom Connection: Gives students finance and real world lessons for economics. This gives scenarios to real life dilemmas.
Cons: Although it is for all grades, it is primarily the older grades.
Elementary
Classroom connections: This site puts social studies concepts into easy to read format for children. Although I tagged this on the Declaration of Independence, there are various topics throughout the site. It even has current events in the U.S., education, the world.
Elementary K-6
Classroom Connections: It is a magazine in which students can look at for current global events. It is a great supplement for social studies, stories can be shown on the smart board.

Classroom Connections: This is a site which requires a membership. It gives the students practice with various content areas. The ELA section specializes into author's purpose, and other areas within ELA. It also allows the students to log in so that their progress can be tracked.

Classroom Connections: This website that explains to students how the U.S. Constitution came to be. Teaching 4th Grade social studies, I want my 9 year old students to understand what they are learning about and specifically the hard work our forefathers put into our government. This is a great site to do that.
It also gives a section titled "show what you know" to give students a chance to review what they learned.
This site also gives more information on governmental social studies topics.
