I thought this was neat because, now-a-days they have students using iPads in the classroom so teachers should too. What better way to do that than use a grade book app.

Students today are all about technology. I think if it works to motivate students to learn, it is worth using.

Technology with our youth is happening weather we like it or not, so using technology to our advantage as parents or teachers is a good idea. There are many programs to teach kids all kinds of stuff, that they will enjoy learning, being able to do your lesson on the computer makes it more of a game.

I thought this site was informative about competition in school, but it also covered a lot more topics in the school systems

I think this article is very informative. It also gives good suggestions for use in the computer lab. Every child should be informed about computers.

I think this article is interesting because we have to keep in mind the importance of what we are requesting a student to use the technology for. Important quote from the article "So I say to my students, 'If you wouldn't give a worksheet to teach this concept, why on earth would you give them an electronic worksheet?' Technology should be providing an experience that children would not get otherwise, to add a new dimension to their understanding"

This is a good link to help some teachers that have been given I pads to help teach their students.

I think that it is important as teachers to know that the economic differences of our students may at times affect their education.

Google Play for Education is not just a new search engine.  Google is poising itself to compete with Apple in the Education market.  Really like that apps can be pushed out across multiple devices with one click.
