Python Programming Guide - Simon Haughton's website - 1 views

  •
"I've just finished creating a 10-page children's guide to programming in Python, in readiness for the introduction of the new primary computing curriculum in 2014. It has been tested using the Python 3.0 for iOS app  (I chose this particular iOS app simply because it was the cheapest at the time I downloaded it)."

Code Club opens up its coding-for-kids projects for UK parents and teachers | Technolog... - 5 views

Thanks for sharing this Tony. Looks very interesting - Python reminds me of Microworlds. Might look into running a lunchtime programming club for grades 5-6. Although still trying to get a Minecraft Club started! - unfortunately my school techs don't know Minecraft and although it has been on their 'to do' list from last year limited time makes it really hard for them to get it up. :-( Cheers - Chris Trimnell
