The Oreo Project is starting in September and supports the Data and Analysis strand. These are simple projects that are not time consuming. You need to join this site to partipate and sign up for projects separately.

Learning Clip is an online project to create resources for teaching primary maths. During the initial development phase of the project all the clips have been freely available to anyone interested in teaching and learning mathematics. From the 16th January 2010 some of the resources will only be available by subscription. The rest will continue to be free to registered users click here to register

Jen's Oreo project

This a great guide for teaching some elementary principles (ages 9-11) of poster (graphic) design. It covers topics such as layout, color, text, and use of images. It could be used as for whole class discussion or as an independent task for students with good comprehension skills. A rubric for visual information literacy component of a larger project could easily be constructed from this activity.
