    This article sounds very informational.
  •
Nearly half of all substance abuse treatment admissions involve college students ages 18-24 that were primarly related to alcohol disorders.Reports shows in 2009 there were 12,000 treatment admissions involving college students.I chose this article because I am interested in drug and alcohol treatment.Mainly because I nearly ruined my life due to alcohol and drugs and my using and drinking started right before college out of high school therefore I never was able or wanted to attend college until now.

I agree because it can teach some of the students to be parpared before they start because peer pressure can get them to try new things.
  •
I agree with this because alot of more peer pressure is appearing and rising in college students

I think that all college students be be aware of how serious alcohol disorders can affect them. College students should take their health more seriously, especially when it's about alcohol because many bad things can happen. I like how they show you the percentage of alcohol and drugs and how its affected so many college students.

College students and diet - 0 views

  •
I selected this article because I am interested in exercise and diet. This just verifies what I mostly hear from peolple I talk to at my place of employment which is a athletic club.Once in college and out on their own for the first time diet habits become poor for various reasons. To start eating fast foods which are not as healthy as claimed most due to meals that follow fries and cokes.Eating too much junk food because ite convenient and easy. Most meals that are microwavable are loaded with tons of sodium.Once they get to eat usually its too much at one sitting.Eating too much breakfast or none at all. Also ten percent of college students have more than fifteen alcoholic drinks per week, which are empty calories. On the other hand there are many inexpensive ways to change poor diet.1.Prepare balanced meals.2.Eating 5 or 6 meals per day if possible, which 1 or 2 may include protein shakes.3.Eat apple or orange instead of candy bars etc.Apples or oranges will also give you healthy nutritiuos energy which will keep you attentive in class as well.4.Drink water instead of sodas, one they are cheapier, two they are not filled with sugars and caffiene.5.Drink less or lower calorie and less carb alcoholic drinks.
