How this STEM school is shattering stereotypes - 0 views

This school looks really interesting! "The Los Angeles school took an out-of-the-box approach for a specific reason: All of its students have a learning challenge, like autism-spectrum disorder, Asperger's and ADHD." "The students are especially gifted in subjects like math and science, but have fallen behind in their social and communication skills. (The curriculum also includes traditional subjects like English, art and language.)" ^^This makes me SO SAD that Social Studies isn't in their curriculum because social studies help people learn how to live in the world, be good citizens and learn important material like how the government works and what their rights are as citizens. They could also learn about the behavior sciences and possibly understand themselves better in the process. What do you think?
