Edmodo is a social media site where parents, teachers, and students can all collaborate in the learning process. Students can post on discussion boards, view assignments, share video/audio clips, and track grade information. I see this as an extension of the classroom because it enables students to continue collaborating and working on academic projects outside of the traditional classroom setting.
