The below instructions can help you with genetic preservation: Before the collection of a sample, do not disinfect the sample area to avoid any damage to the skin If you have used iodine to sterilize the area, please use alcohol to cleanse the iodine from the area Place the sample in a sealed container and keep the temperature between 0-4°C Please avoid using saline throughout the entire process Do not freeze the sample as it may decrease the chance of successful preservation Send the biopsy sample within 6 days
