When you order an app, an install link will be sent to you a few days later. seems like it is mostly for Ipads for now but the idea is great.

This is a site that allows the users to take a photo and ask a question related to the photo and the participants give back responses in texts, writing, drawing or voice. It is really cool . Blubbr is a neat quiz creation service that I recently learned about on Free Technology for Teachers. Using Blubbr you can create interactive quizzes that are based on YouTube clips. Your quizzes can be about anything of your choosing. The structure of the quizzes has a viewer watch a short clip then answer a multiple choice question about the clip. Viewers know right away if they chose the correct answer or not.  Great for reinforcing a topic on internet safety, social netiquette, social skills etc.

With Artsonia, teachers can build a gallery of their students' art projects. The website lets family and friends log on to see the children's art. Friends and relatives can comment on students' work, which is posted with their first name and an ID number. They can also sign up to get alerts when their students' new masterpieces are uploaded. Anyone can purchase coffee mugs, key chains, and other items featuring the artwork. Items are often given as a holiday, Mother's Day, or Father's Day gift. Schools earn 15 percent when parents purchase custom keepsakes with their child's artwork.

Some schools have brought them in through 1:1 initiatives and other seen them start to flood in after implementing BYOD policies. As with anything else, teachers have seen some pros and cons with this cool, new classroom technology. Here's a list of some things to expect with iPads in the classroom.

This is another version of online student response system that seems to go a step further than the Socrative learning tool.  This system allows you to record the questions in audio, use pictures and set up different classrooms.  You can even provide a link where each of the students can view the same web page at once while the teacher discusses a topic.  The tool allows the students to respond with a drawing which is great for dyslexic students struggling with writing.

The site was developed for student use and is safe and secure, without any personal avatar photos needed. The information is linked to a teachers or parents email. students can upload videos of the projects they have or are making to in order to demonstrate how you can recreate the project. It is a free site and can be used with any ages. Click on the links in the blog to go to the signup page.
