Could vitamin D really cure your arthritis? | Mail Online - 1 views

  •
Now a new and controversial book by an American doctor suggests that taking even higher levels of the vitamin - 10 to 15 times the recommended amounts - can work wonders. Dr James Dowd, who works at the Arthritis Institute of Michigan, has been prescribing vitamin D to people suffering from chronic disorders such as arthritis, back pain and headaches and the result, he claims, is a huge improvement in their symptoms. In his book, The Vitamin D Cure, Dr Dowd describes a number of success stories using this approach. One of his patients, Barbara, for instance, was obese, and suffered from arthritis in one leg as well as high blood pressure. As Dowd explains: "In the past I would have given her anti-inflammatory drugs, pain medication, a pill to lose weight and drug treatment for hypertension."

There IS a Cure for Diabetes? - 0 views

  •
Hi it's Ziad. I recently had a meal with a very close friend of mine. During our conversation he told me that he had been diagnosed with Diabetes. This was very recently in December 2013. Apparently his stress levels were high and this contributed to him being diagnosed with Diabetes. He was told by his Doctor he would need to take insulin and regularly monitor his blood levels for there rest of his life! Unbelievably, within approximately 3 weeks of this diagnosis his Diabetes was reversed! He couldn't believe it. He followed this simple program and within 3 SHORT weeks his Diabetes was gone! No needles, no insulin, no fear. To my knowledge Diabetes is for life. Extremely happy to be re-educated. I made this quick video to raise awareness that Diabetes is reversible. Even with type 1 Diabetes there are apparently many cases where the need for insulin is radically reduced and incredibly with some cases even done away with altogether! To Download The Program INSTANTLY Click in the video or Click Here: http://regularresults.com/reversediabetes.html

Long-Term Nutritional Management - 0 views

  •
Good nutrition plays a key role in successfully recovering from kidney transplantation. As after any surgery, adequate calories and protein are needed for proper wound healing. Also, possible side effects of the anti-rejection medications can increase nutrient requirements. Because of these special concerns, you may have to change your diet for a time period after your transplant. However, dietary therapy is always adjusted by the transplant team to meet your specific needs and tolerances. Many transplant patients develop nutrition-related problems in the months and years following transplant. The most common are excessive weight gain (as fat) and high blood cholesterol that are usually caused by steroids and other medications. The best management for you includes weight control by following a "heart healthy" diet and exercising. This website covers some guidelines that will help decrease the amount of total fat and cholesterol in your diet. They will help reduce your risk for heart disease and excessive weight gain. For more read kidney-diseases.
