Her organization has taken out 100,000 landmines from countries, such as Palestine, Israel, Afghanistan, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovena, Angola, and Cambodia. They have also transformed the lives of landmine victims by giving them a decent source of living. In Afghanistan, Roots of Peace has helped 10,000 farmers who are now happily growing fruits on the once dreaded landmine zone.
