One of my roles is to serve as the Network Coordinator and help facilitate the Internet filtering. Well, educators are awesome at finding value in tools that others may see as "entertainment". In this case, YouTube does provide a wealth of education resources and this list just touches on a few. Thanks to EdTechReview for compiling this list. Those of you reading my share please add any additional channels that are beneficial to educators in their comments feed.

Beyond the superheroes of traditional comics, today's graphic communication projects help students synthesize and apply digital scraps, primary source documents, photographs, charts and graphics, and other visuals to create meaningful communications.

Volunteers, university students, scientists, engineers, other STEM professionals and, more broadly, members of the community are working together with educators and students to bring discovery-based science experiences to students in grades K-12. When an educator posts a project, our system will help them get the resources needed to bring that project to fruition.

Great online resources for teaching European History.

Curriki.org group sharing resources in order to establish rish curriculum shared amonsgt a vast audience. It is a combination of a wiki site and a curriculum resource.

Geolocation, also called geotagging, is the practice of associating a digital resource with a physical location. A photographer, for example, might include the longitude and latitude coordinates for where a picture was taken, allowing others to pinpoint that location on a map. Increasingly, geolocation is being applied to infrastructure components and end-user devices for the purpose of knowing where people are. This additional layer of location data can make resources much more useful to a broad range of users.
