She tends to isolate people into categories by using terms such as "brilliant", "well- educated", "less educated", "smart" and "intellectual". She also mentions some norms such as "men regularly marry women who are younger...." and by doing so she implies that these categories are strictly isolated with no points of intersections between them. However, it is important that we stop and think whether something as complex as the decision to marry can be subjected to such heavy categorization. Is it possible to take this complex human emotion and associate it with norms and generalizations?
