However, Google takes it a step further. They use primary data suppliers (Acxiom, Localeze, Infogroup and Factual) to verify business information. Google also has a second tier of data providers for local search, which includes directories and review sites like Facebook, YP.com and Yelp.

How to Optimize Your Google My Business Listing [Updated May 1, 2018] - Moz - 0 views
-
Many business owners don’t realize that anyone can suggest a change (or "edit") to your business listing — and that includes your competitors
-
these aren’t just “suggested” edits — these user-generated changes can actually be made live on your listing without you even being notified. This is just one reason why it’s very important that you log in to your Google My Business dashboard regularly to ensure that no one has made any unwanted changes to your listing.

Google is beginning to index emoji-relevant search results.

Update your Google knowledge panel - Knowledge Panel Help - 0 views

After review is complete, we inform you by email if we intend to publish your suggested change.
-
If the information in your knowledge panel is clearly wrong, click Feedback at the bottom right hand side of the panel. Before submitting to Google, describe what’s wrong and support your suggestion with a publicly accessible webpage URL.
-
At the top of the knowledge panel, click Suggest an edit. If you don’t see this option, Google doesn’t recognize your Google Account as a verified representative of the business. Follow these steps to get verified.

Disavowing in 2019 and Beyond - Should you be auditing your links? - 1 views
-
We decided at MHC to stop offering link audits as we did not feel that it was right to offer a service that could be completely unnecessary. However, we found that a few clients were quite insistent and wanted to give disavowing a try. We filed a few disavows and were incredibly pleased to see that some of these sites saw nice gains a few weeks to months later.

Google’s guide on linking.
-
We’ll hopefully soon be putting out a thorough guide to disavowing. For now though, we would recommend that you only file a disavow if you are confident in understanding what Google considers a natural link to be. Also, if you are having an SEO company audit your links, we would recommend that you only use companies that manually review your links and have good knowledge of Google’s guidelines on linking. If your SEO company is filing disavows based mostly on recommendations from tools, we feel that this work is unlikely to result in improvements in ranking.

Google: Do Not Put 'Organization' Schema Markup on Every Page - Search Engine Journal - 0 views
-
Depending on the type of website, sometimes organization markup fits best on the home page.Other times it may fit in on the contact page
-
Some companies may put review markup on every page in hopes that a star rating is shown for all pages in search results. That’s not a good practice, Mueller says.

The Pros and Cons of Google Manufacturer Center - Conversion Path - 0 views
-
Google Manufacturer Center can be most valuable for brands that: Have a lot of collateral surrounding their products such as positive third-party reviews. Convert customers mainly via brick and mortar, letting their online retailers pick up the online demand for their products. Have products that are usually part of a bigger basket. Items that are expensive to ship relative to product cost sometimes do better at ecommerce retailers since they can become part of a bigger basket. Are retailer agnostic – don’t care who sells so long as the sale happens.
SBA Loans Under the CARES Act - Updated as of April 25, 2020 | Blogs | Coronavirus Reso... - 0 views
-
The PPP provisions of the CARES Act were further interpreted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (“SBA”) in four interim final rules issued on April 2, 2020 (the “Interim Rule”), April 3, 2020 (the “Affiliation Rule”), April 14, 2020 (available here), and April 24, 2020 (available here), and Frequently Asked Questions issued on April 6, 2020 and updated through April 24, 2020 (the “FAQs” ). In conjunction with the issuance of the Affiliation Rule, the SBA also issued a two-page explanation of the affiliation principles applicable to the PPP (the “Affiliation Guidance”). The Interim Rule provided important information on the calculation of the loan amount, and added some further requirements. The Affiliation Rule and Affiliation Guidance clarified the affiliation principles that apply to applicants. The FAQs provide some additional clarification regarding the application of the affiliation rules and interpretation of the CARES Act, including guidance on how to calculate “payroll costs” and how a relationship with a third-party payroll provider and/or Professional Employer Organization (“PEO”) should be viewed for purposes of the PPP. The FAQs make it clear that borrowers and lenders may rely on the SBA’s guidance in the FAQs and the Interim Rule available at the time of application. Specifically, the FAQs provide that the government will not challenge lender PPP actions that conform to such guidance.
-
Unlike most typical SBA loans, the PPP Loans are unsecured loans requiring no collateral, no personal guarantee, and no showing that credit is unavailable elsewhere.
