Nabierasz nawet ochoty, żeby dołączyć się do milionów internautów i stworzyć swoją wersję jakiegoś internetowego hitu. Jeśli następnego dnia do pracy pójdziesz nucąc pod nosem piosenkę, którą zagrał kot z maila od twojego znajomego – znaczy, że oberwałeś fenomenem internetu. A właściwie – mówiąc językiem naukowców – internetowym memem.
Epidemia w naszych umysłach
Dlaczego coś z pozoru mało interesującego zdobywa ogromną popularność w sieci? Zastanawiają się nad tym nie tylko internauci, ale i naukowcy. – Jedną z naukowych prób wyjaśnienia tego zjawiska jest teoria memów – tłumaczy Kazimierz Krzysztofek, socjolog SWPS. - Mówi ona o tym, że istnieją pewne elementy kultury, które mają silniejsze memy. Pojęcie "memu" (na wzór genu) wymyślił i opisał już w latach 70. Richard Dawkins w książce o znaczącym tytule „Samolubny gen”. Argumentował on, że kulturowe elementy ewoluują podobnie, jak biologiczne geny, a przenoszone od osoby do osoby idee stają zaraźliwym wzorcem mogącym „zainfekować” ludzkie umysły.
Memem może być więc wszystko, co łatwo powielić – urywek piosenki, taniec, wyrażenie, marka produktu, a nawet według niektórych memetyków – religijne rytuały. Dziś staje się nim jeden z miliona śmiesznych obrazków czy filmów zalewających internet.
Co raz więcej Polaków dostaje maile z propozycją bardzo korzystnego kredytu; uiścić muszą jedynie kilka opłat. Dopiero po fakcie okazuje się, że padli ofiarą tzw. oszustwa nigeryjskiego, tracąc przy tym wszystkie swoje oszczędności - ostrzega policja.
Contemporary Floating Home in Seattle
From Vandeventer + Carlander Architects comes a modern home design located on Lake Union, right in the city center.How fascinating it is to have a house on a lake! It would be interesting to know what the address of this home is. You probably did not see this coming, but there are a lot of similar floating houses on Lake Union. In fact, if I recall correctly, Tom Hanks owned one in the movie “Sleepless in Seattle”. This particular project was meant as a contemporary looking building with plenty of entertainment space. As you can see in the pictures below, there are many decks and the large floor to ceiling windows allow great views of the city in every direction. This is not exactly the most intimate crib, but it’s okay, as long as the owners don’t mind.
