Excellent case study about teachers implementing PBL in their classrooms. Introduces project-based learning and goes through the process and even the teacher's thoughts about PBL afterwords.
This is the resource document generated from a 2015 ISTE session on PBL. The session went through eqch part of the project cycle and discussed strategies /tools.
This is a great article about conducting professional development workshops for teachers through PBL. Too often, as the article notes, professional development is delivered through direct instruction, but then those who put on the PD expect teachers to do things different in their own classrooms. PD specialists must model what they expect their students - which happen to be teachers - to do in their own classrooms.
I like how it says to "lecture sometimes." After meeting a lot of resistance with an active learning strategy, I decided to bring back some lecture time to make students feel more comfortable and confident with the content prior to active learning processes. It worked wonders!
