Digital Age PBL

To succeed in today's complex, dynamic, and globally connected world, students need to have a depth of understanding and learning that is far more than memorization and recollection of facts and figures. Rigorous project-based learning (PBL), as well as the skills and resources for achieving it, offers a promising pedagogical approach to helping all students succeed.

As a math teacher, we have a lot to "cover". This gives some solid tips for incorporating PBL into all that math content.

This article from 2007 discussed the effectiveness and implementation of different inductive teaching methods to include problem-based learning and project-based learning.

This is a good resource to look at for PBL and history. Students select a topic based around a broad theme and they are able to compete against students locally, state, and nationwide.
