Digital Age PBL

In this lesson, students delve into the booming field. We offer examples of how The Times uses analytics to enhance its sports coverage, and we suggest ways that students can collect their own data to analyze and present information.

A school in our district is a PBL-based school. This is their expected project cycle; it can be nice to see ideas that are actually implemented.

Manor New Technology High School in Manor, Texas, is a 100 percent project-based learning school. They are part of the New Tech Network of schools and their approach has yielded remarkable results, including a 98 percent graduation rate, with all of their graduates accepted to college.
