One of the major social issues in our world, and especially in The United States, is accessible and affordable healthcare. Americans are not able to afford healthcare, and those that manage to pay for it state that more things need to be included.

Age is a huge factor when it comes to getting a job in the United States. Although there are laws in place to prevent it, age discrimination still occurs and is a known issue. Those over 50 years old struggle to find a job that would accept them into the workforce as they are seen 'unworkable'. Its studied that those who stay busier at that age have better and improved health and with those that do not develop disabilities earlier on.

Obesity and unhealthy habits are a huge social issue in the world today, especially in The United States. Obesity is one of the highest causes of deaths in that U.S right along side tobacco use. A time passes on even more GMO and artificial food with be introduced into the world only making it worse.

Homelessness is another social issue and its caused by lack of affordable housing and accessible jobs. Once one becomes homeless it is very difficult for them to receive help as the government lacks to have adequate funding, or any funding for that matter, to assist in decreasing the numbers of homelessness. Whether that be through more jobs, less experience/starting experience available, higher minimum wage, and more affordable living situations.

The education system suffers from many social issues, but the one that stands out to me most is that real life experiences/lessons aren't taught in the standard educational system. Children/young adults are not taught enough about the world around them thus not preparing them for life outside of school.
