The article is about a highly controversial Arizona immigration bill. It is somewhat disheartening to see the article was written in 2010. 8 years later, there has been no improvement to immigration reform.

this article does show us an issues that effected a lot of people. also the article gives good reasoning to why this bill was bad for police since people wouldn't wanna get involve with police good or bad involvement In the fear of getting questioned on their legal statues. this article also hits me in personal way because of where I am from a reservation where you are questioned before you can even enter major cities such as Tucson and casa grande.

This article talks about a state legislature that was passed that places the primary responsibility of enforcing immigration law in the hands of Arizona. The article then goes on to explain the issues with this law when it comes to implementing as well as pointing out how it is unconstitutional.

Very interesting! I can honestly see valid points on both sides of the argument. As a parent, I feel it my responsibility to educate my children about sex. However, there are many parents who do not take the time to educate their children. This is a tough situation...not as cut and dry as other topics on this board.

I don't think this is a bad idea. I took sex education in middle school and am almost 30 now. I never did understand why it was phased out. Sex is real and can be dangerous and young adults should know all that comes with participating in something so mature.

Bullying exists everywhere! I like this article because it provides ways for an anti-bullying environment. At some point in time everyone has whiteness someone being bullied, has been bullied personally, or has been the bully. Its a tragic subject that can lead individuals to suicidal attempts and depression. How long will it take before people realize this matter is crucial especially in educational environments, social media, and even in politics.

I just found out that my wife is pregnant a week ago and this is one of my greatest concerns as a soon to be parent. No one should have to go to school and be open to abuse. Great article and I appreciated the ways that it states to make safe environments.

Bullying.....we always hear the word bullying and this is one of the most scary situation in the world. Million of people have killed themselves because of bullying. we have to stop bullying.

This is such a common topic and has been for so many years. Bullying has been around for so long and now that social media is extremely popular it seems to make it worse. We have to do all we can to prevent this due to so many students committing suicide because of such extreme bullying.

As a parent of a bullying victim, I feel there is much that can be fixed when dealing with this issue. the only thing you can do as a parent is talk to the administration and after that, your hands are tied. They are the ones that talk to the student and the student's parent. The only notification you get is that they had a meeting. In the meantime, your child is being retaliated against, their self-esteem continues to deteriorate and their schoolwork suffers. I wish there could be a more proactive approach. There came a time that I didn't get any communication until I sent an email to the entire school staff, Principal, and Superintendent.

Its definitely an issue that far too often is overlooked. I am not a parent, and can only imagine how parents feel when their son or daughter is a victim of bullying. The issue definitely needs to be addressed, no one should have to attend school worried or concerned about how their day is going to go. It is very saddening, and disheartening.
