California also tried to pass such a law but was stopped in its tracks by :"The Big Six", the six companies in charge of the worlds seed, pesticide, and biotechnology industries. Japan, Europe, Australia, Russia, China, and Brazil have passed laws requiring GMO labeling and the United States still hs not despite the fact that a whopping 90% of Americans feel genetically modified foods should be labeled as such.
