ste2115475 on 04 Sep 17It seems that mostly what's on the news are the violent protest. Those are the only protest that get reported. I do believe you can have a peaceful protest and still be heard rather than letting it come down to violence. With all the recent violent protesting going on it makes a person think about where did everyone's dignity and respect for one another really go.

ben2155595 on 05 Sep 17Personally, I can see why nonviolent protests can be seen as a method that really doesn't get the message out, but at the same time it's a much more mature, respectful, and Constitutional way to make a statement. As listed in the article, many great things have been accomplished through a peaceful stand.
