This article suggests that if black people had better access to and quality of healthcare, then the subsequent communities would not be hit so hard by the virus.

I agree with this sentiment. By doing a Google search of Corona virus cases by zip code, you'll find that areas that are mostly populated by minorities were hit the worst.

A child's weight is their own weight meaning only they can be the ones to properly exercise to have the correct weight. The only way to prevent childhood obesity is based off of the responsibility of the child. The prevention is known to be a struggle especially because exposure to unhealthy foods are everywhere.

There are many major problems within our healthcare system. For instance, there is a huge shortage of healthcare workers. We need healthcare workers in order for hospitals to run smoothly. The author reviews the purpose of Residential Schools for the Deaf and how they influence the social life and wellbeing of the children who are sent there for the better. The article shows a bias leaning towards the schools although there are many hearing families who find themselves troubled by the idea of sending their Deaf children away from K-12 but the article brings forward the positive aspects of how a residential school is uniquely capable of helping deaf children develop confidence and capable social skills that would allow them to experience a proper education unlike a mainstream public school in which they would most definitely be out-casted by their lack of resources, culture, language, and role models. It shows both the pros and cons of the residential schools for the Deaf in America but with a clear bias, however this is not unreasonable. Despite the clear bias towards residential schools from the author the article offers a point of view of hearing parents finding issue with sending their child away from home for long periods of time as they would experience with a residential school.

When I first read this article, I was worried about finding a very biased political perspective. On the contrary, this article was very neutral and explained the advantages and disadvantages of a vaccine mandate for Health Care Workers. The article explained how if countries allowed the mandate, then patients and visitors will be much safer. The mandate, though, can be immoral and hinder personal autonomy.

This article is very informative and enlightening. I like that is explained the advantages and disadvantages on mandates without any bias. I definitely learned some new things and finished reading it without any questions unanswered.
