Before 3-dimensionial printing has had a chance to become a popular household trend, a company named Authentise has already set up a business model to protect other companies from "physical piracy" of their intellectual property. The service will allow users to buy official designs for 3D printing, but will limit the number of copies a user can print before the design is destroyed.
