anonymous on 17 Jun 08I was sitting at a poker table at the Green Valley Ranch in Vegas last week when I glanced up at the plasma flat screen on the wall. Good old Larry Kudlow was yammering with a bunch of CNBC "experts" on how easily America avoided the recession and laughing at the chicken littles who were crying that the sky was falling. Of course, the real experts at the poker table were snickering. One old fart called Kudlow "a lying douchebag". Oil hit $122.50 a barrel that day. We were paying $3.86 a gallon for the cheap stuff at the pump.
