      We have to create labels one by one from parent to child. For example: "abc/def" needs to create "abc" and then "abc/def": i.e., cannot create "abc/def" directly without having "abc" before, otherwise we'll get non-hierchical "abc/def" as a single label.

    Labels are more flexible than folders because a given email can have several labels but can't be in several folders at the same time. A highly requested feature for labels, though, comes from the world of folders: the ability to organize labels hierarchically.

  • While OpenOffice.org2GoogleDocs won't quite let you synchronize your OpenOffice.org documents with your Google Docs, this OpenOffice extension does make it easy to import/export your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • The export button basically lets you save your documents online so you can edit them from any computer, share them with collaborators, or do whatever else it is you do with Google Docs. The import feature brings up a list of all your documents stored online and lets you open them up one by one. There's no batch import option available at the moment.

  • The archive feature is back, now called "hide." You'll notice a Hide button in the document list toolbar that will remove selected documents from view. You can always get back to hidden documents by selecting "Hidden" on the left. It's easy to unhide a document by selecting "Unhide" or simply dragging the document to a different folder.

  • As soon as the account was created I was asked to verify the email address. I ignored that and instead just turned off all email notifications. But I can still use the account to add friends, accept friend requests, like status posts, and send and receive messages. Messages occasionally pop up saying “Before you can interact with other people on Facebook, you need to confirm your email address.” But most activity isn’t restricted at all.
  • The person being impersonated may see the Facebook confirmation email. But since they didn’t just create an account the obvious thing to do is to ignore that email, not to click on the link. But by ignoring it they are letting me continue to pretend to be them.
