This site can be used for information gathering. Teachers can design instructional activities to help students learn how to use their cell phones as an anytime, anywhere research and information-gathering device. For example, while on a trip to historical Williamsburg, Virginia, a teacher tells his class to send any questions that occur to them to the free information site ChaCha. One student wonders why a certain building was constructed in such an odd way. No tour guides are around to help, so he calls 1-800-chacha, asks his question, and gets a text-message answer back in minutes.

This site includes social network safety tips for teens and parents.

Youtube video that talks about Digital Dossier describing all the digital records that accumulate about a typical person from conception to death. Use this to make students aware that all mobile messages, media uses, and calls are part of their permanent record.

This math site was created to help students. It is an on-going work in progress and will be updated periodically. There are a lot of free math worksheets on the site.

Posterous sites are the simple way to send your message where you need it. Posterous groups are great for sharing privately via email, mobile, or the web. Discuss, collaborate, or just keep everyone on the same page, whether it's colleagues, a club, team, group of friends, or family

This site contains tons of links to free teacher resources. The home page currently has 6 categories which users can clink on and then go deeper into a specific area. The categories are chatboards which can be by grade, subject and state; classified ads which are free teacher classified ads, classroom projects with hundreds of project ideas, lesson plans, teacher jobs, teacher mailings for teachers to subscribe to for free.

TeAchnology is a site that has tons of resources for teachers. There are worksheets, lesson plans, rubrics, teacher resources, printables, tools, tips and there is a membership option. Some of the materials are available free as samples but if you want access to all of them I believe it is 29.99 a year.

This site h as links to free worksheets for Math and Language Arts. This is the coolest site. It appears to all be free. The worksheets look great.

If you aren't into worksheets, some of these worksheets provide great ideas for flipchart pages and interactive activities.
