Cool site! a free collection of educational videos for students ages 3-18. There are more then 11,000 videos on such subjects as math, science, and history. Students, parents and teachers have designated pages and the site offers a guide for contributors. Featured videos originate from national Geographic, YouTube, and google Videos, among others, and have been endorsed by educators from universities such as Harsvard, Standford, and Brigham Young University.

Art Babble is a video website designed and maintained by the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The purpose of Art Babble is to provide a place for people to learn about the creation of art, artists, and collections through quality video productions. Visitors to Art Babble will find videos related to many forms of and formats for art. Schoo Tube is a great way for teachers and studetns to watch videos, upload videos, create a Free channel, enter contests, and receive the video of the day.

I have used this site to upload videos created by teachers and students. I haven't seen anything inappropriate on it. I know it is monitored because I believe the video had to be previewed before it was released onto the site.

The social platform Google+ has some excellent integrated tools that students can draw on to study collaboratively. Two of these tools are Circles and Hangout. The Circles feature allows users to create group of contacts with whom they can easily converse and share materials. Google Hangout allows you to hold video conferences with a limited group of people. The great thing I like about Google Hangout is the things you can do while using it. You can for instance share your screen, collaborate on a Google Doc or even use a collaborative whiteboard. Hangouts can be recorded and streamed live on YouTube.
