Schoo Tube is a great way for teachers and studetns to watch videos, upload videos, create a Free channel, enter contests, and receive the video of the day.
I have used this site to upload videos created by teachers and students. I haven't seen anything inappropriate on it. I know it is monitored because I believe the video had to be previewed before it was released onto the site.
Very cool video showing you how to add a diigo bookmarks tab to your ipad. Continue to add to your diigo library and see your diigo bookmarks on your table.

There are numerous videos that are history related. This site would have some materials that would possibly work to introduce science topics as well. There are a number of timeline.tv links about disease, plague, medicine of medieval times, etc. Very interesting material. Covers various periods of England's history and the American West.
Wikimedia commons provides pictures, sounds, and videos that can be used provided the user follows the commons licensing agreement. This is like creative commons.
This is soooo cool! Go in and check out the 12 minute tutorial video. You will not believe all that this tool can do and it's free. Not only can individuals create and share flash cards, but they can test themselves. You can also add sound to this tool. If you selecte the spelling option you can create spelling flash cards that use sound. There is a translation tool built into this for foreign language teachers or ESL teachers or for students learning a new language. You have got to check this out!
